What Is the 3D Pixel Pillar Light?
The 3D Pixel Pillar Light is a commercial addressable RGB pixel column designed for suspended 3D pixel matrix ceiling lighting in nightclubs. Each pillar contains 81 RGB pixels arranged across multiple illuminated surfaces, allowing multiple fixtures to form a dynamic 3D pixel matrix.
Modular Design & Control
Individual pixel pillars can be used separately or combined into larger modular arrays. Built-in power and data connections simplify system wiring, while DMX512, Art-Net and MADRIX support professional pixel mapping and lighting programming.
How the 3D Pixel Matrix Works
Multiple pixel pillars are arranged across the ceiling and mapped as one lighting system. The controller sends pixel data to each fixture, allowing synchronized patterns, color transitions and 3D effects to move across the entire array.
3D Pixel Pillar Lighting Effects
The 3D Pixel Pillar system creates dynamic spatial lighting effects such as waves, chases, pulses, tunnels, gradients, and 3D pixel animations. It can also be synchronized with LED dance floors for coordinated ceiling and floor effects.
Spatial Pixel Effects and Waves
By controlling pixel colors, brightness, and timing, the system creates dynamic 3D wave and spatial pixel effects.
Gradient and Chase Effects
Smooth color transitions combine with dynamic chase effects to create flowing visual patterns across the ceiling.
Synchronized with LED Dance Floors
The 3D Pixel Pillar system and LED dance floor can share the same control system, enabling synchronized lighting effects across the ceiling and floor.
Lighting Fixture Specifications
The 3D Pixel Pillar Light is available in three modular configurations with 4, 6, or 9 pixel pillars. An optional bottom pixel can be added to each pillar, creating an additional illuminated surface for richer and more dynamic 3D lighting effects.
multiple modular configurations
The system is available with 4, 6, or 9 pixel pillars per module, allowing the configuration to be selected according to the installation area and desired pixel density.
- 6-Pillar Module: 80 pixels per pillar, 480 pixels total, 400 × 600 × 205 mm.
- 9-Pillar Module: 80 pixels per pillar, 720 pixels total, 500 × 500 × 205 mm.
- Optional Bottom Pixel: Adds 1 additional pixel per pillar, increasing each pillar from 80 to 81 pixels.
Standard vs. Bottom-Pixel Version
For a more dimensional lighting effect, each pillar can be equipped with an additional 9W bottom pixel.
This adds another illuminated surface to the 4-sided pixel column, creating a stronger sense of depth when viewed from below.

How to Install the 3D Pixel Pillar Light
The 3D Pixel Pillar Light features a modular installation design for quick and flexible setup. Individual pillars can be installed with hooks or screws, while 4-, 6-, and 9-pillar matrix are available for faster installation and more efficient large-area layouts.
Daisy-Chain Power & Data Connection
Connect multiple 3D Pixel Pillar Lights in sequence using the power and data cables. All pillars should be installed in the same orientation to ensure consistent pixel mapping and lighting effects.

Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about system sizing, DMX control, MADRIX programming, layout design, maintenance, and future expansion.
How Many 3D Pixel Pillar Lights Do I Need?
The quantity depends on your ceiling size, pixel spacing, and desired visual density. Send us your venue dimensions or CAD drawing, and we can recommend the pillar quantity and layout.
Can This Work with My Existing Lighting Console?
Yes. The system can integrate with a DMX512 lighting console through the controller, allowing the Pixel Pillar Lights to work as part of your existing nightclub lighting setup.
Is MADRIX Required?
No. MADRIX is not required for basic operation. Preset effects and DMX control are available, while MADRIX is recommended for advanced pixel mapping, custom animations, and more complex synchronized effects.
Can You Create the Lighting Programs for Us?
The controller we sent you already includes many built-in dynamic programs to meet everyday needs. For personalized dynamic effects, professional lighting technicians will be required to edit them.
What Happens If One Pixel Pillar Fails?
The system uses a modular design, so an individual Pixel Pillar can be removed and replaced without replacing the complete installation. Troubleshooting can also be performed separately for the fixture, power, and data connections.
What Is a Corn Pixel Matrix light
“Corn Pixel Matrix light” is a supplier nickname for this type of multi-sided 3D pixel column. We use the name 3D Pixel Pillar Light, while the fixture can also be described as a 4-Sided 3D Pixel Matrix Column or Vertical 4-Surface Addressable Pixel Tower.
